We invite you to participate at our special tour and at the same time visit three countries with rich history and culture, that are: Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran. Each of these countries is well-known by its unique traditions of carpet-weaving, and there are workshops that still preserved the ancient style of hand-made weaving. “Carpet Tour along the Silk Road” gives a wonderful opportunity to watch the process of Uzbek, Turkmen and Persian carpets’ creation at legendary workshops of Bukhara, Ashgabat and Tehran. Besides, you will get acquainted with the professional secrets of famous masters of carpet-weaving and enjoy the production process of todays’ masterpieces.
End of May is the best period for organizing a tour when you have an opportunity to visit the only in the world unique Carpet Museum in Ashgabat, as well as to participate at annual festive Carpet Exhibition holding in Turkmenistan on the last Sunday of May and dedicated to Turkmen Carpet Day.
UZBEKISTAN

City tour in Tashkent: visit to Hazrati Imam (Hast-Imam)Memorial Complex and Chorsu Bazaar situated at the old part of the city. You will also visit Museum of Applied Artswhere the collection of national carpets and suzane related to the beginning of 19th century is represented. Time to enjoy Tashkent Metro Ride at city center, walking tour along Amir Timur Square and Alisher Navoi Theatre Square.
Day 3: Tashkent – Samarkand

Arrival. City Tour: Guri Emir, Registan Square, including Tillya-Kari, Sher Dor and Ulugbek Madrasahs.
Day 4: Samarkand

Continuation of the sightseeing tour: Bibi Khanum, local bazaar, Shakhi Zinda Necropolis. Visit to the silk carpet manufacture.
Day 5: Samarkand – Bukhara

A long drive south-east to the most remote of Central Asia’s Silk Road city. En route viewing the desert and the Amu Darya River.

TURKMENISTAN
Day 9: Khiva – Dashoguz – Ashgabat
