You have a good opportunity to visit Autonomic Republic of Karakalpakstan that is situated on the western part of Uzbekistan. The Aral Sea which sometime ago was an immense salt lake in Central Asia is very interesting object not only from ecological point of view, but also from tourism reason as well. Expedition tour to the Aral Sea is a good chance to see the object which can totally disappear in some years.
Tour to the Aral Sea includes also visit to Ustyurt Plateau which stretches out along the bank of Big Aral with the giant wall at three hundred meters height. Photographers all over the world want to reach that place in order to make unique frames.
We will also see Ships Graveyard at the desert area where the sea existed some time ago and now this place is called Aralkum (Aral desert).

Day 1: Tashkent – Nukus
Flight
Flight to Nukus.
On arrival transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Visit the Museum of Art named after I.V. Savitskiy.
Walking tour along the city.
Day 2: Nukus – Khodjeyli – Kungrad – Aral Sea
Jeep Car
Early in the morning (approx at 7-8 a.m.) drive to Khodjeyli city and visit to the archeological complex Mizdakkhan (mausoleums Mazlumkhan sulu and Shamun Nabi, Khalfa Erejep madrasah, White Khanka caravanserai, and antique fortress Gyaur Kala). Tourists can get interesting information about monuments and the history of the area.
Then we will continue driving to Ustyurt Plateau via Kungrad city, desolate village Urga and Sudoche lake. At the place they will be informed of the DEPORTEDpeople from Russians and Stalin’s time.
Further the route continues to the bank of Aral Sea. On arrival, walking tour along the bank and dinner around the campfire.
Overnight in sleeping bags.
Day 3: Aral Sea – Muynak - Nukus
Jeep Car
After the breakfast drive to the picturesque canyons of Ustyurt and later through drained bottom of the sea we will reach a fishing village Uchsay and Muynak.
Excursion along the Ships Graveyard in Muynak, the mouth of famous river Amudarya, Museum of Aral Sea with its interesting pictures and etc.
Drive back to Nukus and then to Khiva or other destinations.
